We were blessed to be able to give so many awards out at our Annual Dinner on March 9th! We presented North Range Behavioral Health with the Non-Profit of the Year Award, John Lockhart with the Ambassador of the Year Award, Kendra Yackey with the Rising Star Award, Lew Sevestre with the Board Member of the Year Award, H& R Painting LLC with the Partner of the Year Award, and the Michele Jones Service to the Business Community Award went to the City of Evans! Thank you to all of our amazing members, Board members, and Ambassadors!

Thank you so much to ADEO for hosting our Business Before Hours this morning! We had a great time, and I know everyone enjoyed the homemade breakfast treats. We enjoyed learning about what ADEO is all about, and it was interesting to learn about the history behind the ADEO logo.

Since its founding in 1977 Adeo, formerly known as the Greeley Center for Independence, has sought to lift up the lives of people facing various health challenges, with a focus on brain injuries beginning in 2004.

We are so grateful for all that they do for our community, and we are so glad that they are a part of this chamber.

We had the great opportunity to welcome Vero Fiber into the community with a ribbon cutting on Wednesday, February 21st. Vero Fiber Networks has come to Evans, and we are so glad. “Vero Networks was formed to fill a need in unserved and underserved communities where access to affordable, reliable broadband simply does not exist. Our goal is to bring the highest quality fiber optic-based broadband services to these communities. In addition, Vero strives to enhance communities by becoming an active partner in these communities by adding jobs, supporting local causes, and helping improve the connectivity of schools and rural healthcare as well”. Vero Networks CEO, Sunita Krishna and Nathan McGinn the CEO of Glass Roots Construction cut the ribbon together. In attendance were other prominent members of Vero including, Evan Biagi - CRO, Matt Brouker - EVP Operations & Sales, Tachana Petty - Sr Dir Service Delivery & Field Ops, Kevin Fitzgerald - EVP Sales & Marketing, Crosby Lanham - VP Network Operations, Dan Schmitz - VP OSP, Leanne Lang - SVP Finance, and Lacey Mally - Community Events Manager. City of Evans City Council members in attendance were Laura Speer, Tammy Mortenson, and Fred Neal. Along with many of the City of Evans staff who have been working with Vero Fiber to get this project started in Evans.

Welcome, Vero Fiber, to the City of Evans! We are glad you are a member of the Evans Area Chamber of Commerce, and that we could celebrate this special occasion with you.

The Harper Family has been doing business in Greeley and Evans for forty years. Beginning with Harper Mechanical Inc in 1983, which was founded by George and Donna Harper, who ran the company until George's passing in 2007. That same year, Ron Harper, George's son and Ron's wife Cindy, took over to continue his vision. Together Ron and Cindy have seven grandkids aged sixteen to four; finding somewhere close to meet up and spend time together as a family was the one thing the communities of Greeley and Evans needed. To celebrate everything from Baby Showers to Weddings, Graduations, Birthday Parties, and more, however, found this area to be short on options. But more than that, we needed a place as a community to gather as friends and neighbors.

It was so much fun to celebrate a Ribbon Cutting with the Harper Family and Rush team, and we are so very excited that they have decided to become members with us. We are looking forward to some great years ahead of us!
